Cowley Cottage is a specialist residential service for male adults with learning disabilities. Service users are supported to develop individualised person centred plans that promote increased choice, control over their lives and independence.

We follow an active person centred approach which supports service users to make informed choices, take control of their lives and achieve their planned outcomes.
Our Total Communication culture enables staff to implement individualised communication strategies for service users with communication difficulties.
Service users are supported to develop individually tailored Health Action Plans which focus on supporting people to manage their healthcare needs and increase their independence.
We support service users to choose and take part in activities that develop social, communication and life skills. These range from support in daily life skills such as shopping and household tasks through to college placements, voluntary and paid work experience and social and leisure activities in the community.
