ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BURLEY HALL NURSING HOME
Burley Hall is a grand care home located in the pretty village of Burley-in-Wharfedale, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Wharfe Valley. The home has just completed a new six en-suite bedroom extension with an additional courtyard.
Care we offer
Burley Hall offers different levels of care depending on the support a resident needs. The home has excellent facilities for nursing and residential care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. It also offers specialist care for those with dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
Food
The chef at Burley Hall creates a delicious, seasonal menu, with a wide selection of dishes available. Mouth-watering homemade cakes are baked daily and served with afternoon tea, and there is a Night Bite menu available between 6.30pm and 6.30am.
We aim to fully understand new residents' nutritional needs, tastes and special diets soon after arrival, and we continually look for feedback to ensure individuals needs are being met. Friends and family are most welcome to join residents for meals if they wish, for a small fee.
Activities
Residents are encouraged to stay active and occupied and our dedicated activity co-ordinator creates an activities schedule to suit all tastes and levels of mobility. Entertainers, a manicurist and ‘Pets as Therapy’ are appreciated regulars. Residents are encouraged to continue personal hobbies and interests, or enjoy something new by joining one of Burley Hall’s clubs.
