Broomcroft House lies in a leafy suburb on the border of Ecclesall and Whirlow in Sheffield with the city centre just 4 miles away. It is a long established home with an enviable reputation for quality of care and service.
The care we offer
Broomcroft House is split into two houses: Chatsworth and Hardwick so that each can provide specialised care including residential dementia care, flexible day care and care for older people. This can be for long or short stay. We also welcome residents who require nursing, convalescence, palliative care and respite and who need specialist Parkinson's disease care.
Food
Each of our residents have different nutritional requirements and tastes, and we aim to understand these shortly after a new resident comes to stay with us here at Broomcroft House, so that our chef can incorporate these into the daily menus.
There’s always a wide range of meals on offer including hot and cold alternatives, lighter options, a variety of desserts and a selection of fresh fruit and treats including delicious homemade cakes which are served with afternoon tea. We regularly have special meals to celebrate birthdays, Christmas and other occasions throughout the year.
Activities
Broomcroft’s dedicated and highly motivated activity co-ordinators ensure a variety of activities take place every day, taking into account our residents’ individual interests and levels of ability. There are a number of comfortable and well furnished lounges where residents can enjoy pursuing their own interests and hobbies.
There are a number of clubs that residents can join including painting and knitting, which are a favourite of many and the home arranges many days out, such as to the Manor Garden.
