ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BROADACRES CARE HOME
Broadacres Care Home is a 50 bed residential care home for older people, including those with dementia. It is in the Parkgate area, close to the centre of Rotherham. The home provides accommodation on two floors. The upstairs unit is known as Rosehill and the downstairs unit is known as Clifton.
Broadacres has 2 lovely garden areas which are easily accessed by residents and their families. These are accentuated of a night with blue lights that drape over the branches of the trees. In summer we hold BBQ events for residents their families and friends of Broadacres. During long summer afternoons we offer high tea in the gazebo.
Weather permitting we also offer out door activities, such as croquet and bowls.
We are more than just a care home, we aim to make Broadacres our residents' home; a place where our residents and their families can feel they belong, they are listend to, respected and valued. A plcae whereby the independence and personal freedom that our resiednts are used to is maintained.
We accept local authority-funded clients.
We are 15 minutes away from Meadow Hall Shopping Mall, and 10 minutes away from some beautiful picturesque contryside. There are good local transport links.
