ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BRIDGE COURT BUNGALOW
At Bridge Court we support six people with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The service is on the outskirts of Normanby village with good access to shops and other local facilities. There are accessible bus routes close by.
We aim to provide a service which is responsive to the needs of the individuals who use it. We encourage each person to reach their maximum potential in terms of social and daily living skills so that they can lead as independent a life as possible. We have a stable staff team which has enabled staff to gain the confidence and trust of the people they support, resulting in a friendly, relaxed environment.
We take pride in the way that we encourage everyone to express their opinions about the service through participation in service meetings and involvement in decision making.
We support each person to live the lifestyle of their choice. One individual works voluntarily in a charity shop and looking after animals, others attend independent living skills and cookery courses at college.
The service has six bedrooms, each with its own wash basin. The service is accessible for wheelchair users.
