ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BLAKEWATER LODGE
Blakewater Lodge is a purpose built Local Authority home for 36 elderly people situated within 5 minutes walk of Blackburn Town Centre. On each of the four units there are bedrooms, bathing and W.C. facilities. There is a large central dining room and various lounges including one set aside for people who smoke. There is a central courtyard with raised gardens and access for the disabled at the front entrance.
