Located in the historic cathedral city of Winchester, Bereweeke Court Nursing Home provides exceptional care in a homely and calm environment. In 2009, the home was a finalist in the category of ‘Specialist Care Home’ at the Caring Business Awards.
The care we offer
The home provides specialist nursing dementia care as well as convalescence, palliative care or respite. The home has excellent standards and facilities and all carers are highly trained to provide professional, individualised care.
Key features of Bereweeke Court Nursing Home Bereweeke Court has recently undergone a large refurbishment programme. This included extensive redecoration and additional features being added to support residents. The home now boasts a bespoke reminiscence lounge with memorabilia. There is also a faux shop window which research shows stimulates the mind and is highly beneficial to those with dementia.
Bedrooms
Bedrooms are attractively decorated in neutral tones and provide homely and comfortable surroundings. All have a 24-hour call system. Some rooms also provide ensuite facilities. Residents are encouraged to bring their own belongings, such as pictures, ornaments or small items of furniture. This is to make their own rooms more familiar and personalised.
Home life
Residents can enjoy the small garden and pretty seated area. This has been designed to ensure residents' safety, or take part in a variety of stimulating daily activities. Friends and family are always welcome at the resident’s convenience and there is a separate visitor’s lounge for added privacy. Local shops are within walking distance and conveniently for visiting friends and relatives the home is on a local bus route.
