Beaconville Nursing Home is a well know and regarded nursing home situated in an idyllic wooded setting in Ivybridge Devon. Established many years ago, it retains many of its period features.
Specialising in Dementia nursing in the over 65 age group the management and staff recognise that a "person centered" approach is the key to their success.
Beaconville believes that recognising, supporting and celebrating each resident's individuality is the core principle.
Beaconville has been a thriving and reputable nursing home for over 25 years, both staff and management strive for excellence at all times and follow rigorous up to date training which includes Alzheimer's Society accredited and Bradford University Dementia specific courses. Experiencing memory loss in a loved one is particularly distressing and it can become less realistic to provide good care solutions in the persons own home environment.
Accommodation can be provided for up to 36 clients with 36 staff ensuring that all clients have professional registered nurses and experienced care assistants, in constant attendance 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
