Situated in a pleasant residential area of Penrith, Beacon Edge offers a well equipped and safe home environment for its residents.
The care we offer
Beacon Edge is able to care for a broad range of needs with each house purpose-designed to meet specific care requirements including residential care, nursing and specialist dementia care.
Food
A wide range of balanced, nutritious meals are prepared daily by our chef. This is done using fresh produce and catering for all tastes, dietary requirements and cultural needs. Snacks and drinks are always available and fresh water is delivered to residents’ rooms every day.
Activities
There is always something enjoyable and stimulating to do, regardless of residents' abilities. Every month there is a special event that reflects the time of year and notable occasions such as Christmas, Pancake Day and Mother’s Day.
Our dedicated activity co-ordinator arranges many things for our residents to do - from craft work and sing-a-longs to hand massages and painting. Entertainers regularly visit to treat the residents to musical performances and friends and relatives are more than welcome to participate.
Residents can also go on outings for pub lunches and gentle walks or shopping in the local town centre. This helps ensure residents lead a full and active lifestyle wherever possible.
