This converted private house provides a warm, friendly home for elderly residents. Based in the peaceful, residential area of Charlton Kings, two miles from the historic and vibrant town of Cheltenham, on the edge of the Cotswolds.
The care we offer
A wide range of care is available from nursing and convalescence, to palliative care and respite. Barrington Lodge also offers specialist care for people with Parkinson's disease and for those who have had a stroke. As you would expect from Bupa, standards of care are excellent with staff providing 24-hour, professional care and support.

Originally a large private house. Barrington Lodge has been tastefully extended and converted to provide a home that offers every modern convenience for elderly residents. The home has attractive and homely living areas, one featuring a large ornate fireplace and an attractive conservatory with views of stunning Leckhampton Hill.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms are individually decorated with co-ordinating soft furnishings. All have ensuite facilities, remote controlled televisions, smoke detectors, 24-hour call systems and thermostatic radiators. Some also have telephone points and views over the delightful gardens.
Home life
Residents can relax or entertain guests in the spacious lounge, bright and airy conservatory or mature landscaped gardens. The beautiful gardens are expertly tended and have an abundance of flowers and small wildlife. There is a furnished patio where residents can choose to eat their meals or enjoy afternoon tea on warm days. They can also benefit from the stimulating sensory garden, water feature, a bird feeding area and a greenhouse where many residents enjoy growing plants and vegetables.
