Avondale Nursing Home provides nursing and personal care and is registered for up to 36 older people. The premises consist of a detached house and an extension, split over two floors with a lift. Many of the double occupancy rooms have now been made single occupancy so the care home actually cares for up to 26 people. The home is in Patricoft, just off a main road and close to shops and public transport routes. There is a car park at the front of the property and gardens to the rear.
