ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - AVALON YORK SERVICES
Avalon (York) provides community based support to people in their own homes. It also has a shared lives service where 'carers' employed by Avalon provide respite and long term placements to people in the carers homes. The support ranges from a few hours a week to full time. People are supported with a wide range of activities and tasks, and the service focusses on supporting people to live independently.
