ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - AVALON ENTERPRISE (UK) LIMITED
Avalon Enterprise is an agency responsible for running independence orientated care and support packages for adults with physical, learning and sensory disabilities, allowing them to live in their own homes. Avalon Enterprise also facilitates arranging and providing accommodation either directly through Avalon or through other landlords, this is achieved through tenancy agreements.
The agency seeks to provide a person centered approach to supporting adults with a variety of needs and disabilities to enhance and develop independent living skills in order to maximize the individual’s potential to care for themselves.
A significant part of the work undertaken with the Service Users under the care of Avalon Enterprise is to carry out ongoing holistic assessment of short term and long term needs and goals. Working in partnership with the Service User, their families, other professionals, responsible authorities, as well as other appropriate agencies is an essential element to a successful care / support program. Through these partnerships our experienced team will endeavor to enhance each Service User’s opportunities and life choices.
Support plan reviews are undertaken from the Service User’s point of view by responding to their wishes, goals and needs. However, guidance and support are offered to the Service User in order to achieve the most successful, “positive outcomes” to their support plan through this reviewing progress. We pride ourselves on the structured approach of our support plans which are flexible and responsive to the unique strengths of the individual.
