At Athorpe Lodge we are dedicated to providing care and support for elderly clients with physical and mental health problems.  No matter what condition or life stage our residents are in, we believe that coming to live here is the start of something special.  Our home is friendly, warm and welcoming with all the comforts to make it truly a place our residents can call their home.

No two people are ever the same therefore we provide individual assessments leading to personal care and development plans.  This ensures that each individual receives the right care at the right time and can also be supported to develop skills or work towards certain aspects of indenpendant living, where appropriate.  Ongoing, regular reviews ensure that the care plans and objectives develop with each individuals changing needs.  We pride ourselves on seeing beyond the condition and strive to help the people that live with us reach their potential.

Professionalism, dedication and training form the foundations of the care we provide whilst theraputic relationships, trust and understanding form the basis of how we do it.  All our staff hold nationally recognised qualifications and benefit from ongoing training and development.

Our purpose built facilities are spacious with communal lounges, dining rooms, garden areas and personal space.  In addition, bathroom and toilet facilities are fully adapted to ensure we can prvide the highest quality of care.  Each Individual enjoys a private en suite bedroom and can customise the decor to suit their taste.

Along with a daily activity programme we have a varied and active social calendar including day trips out.  We celebrate special events throughout the year and we like to enjoy seasonal celebrations.  We make sure we have areas for quiet contemplation too, along with outdoor areas and gardens
