Ashgreen House offers an extensive list of care services to the London area of Woolwich, including residential, day care, nursing, intermediate and respite care, while also functioning as a Neighbourhood Resource Centre.This care home is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is able to provide care for 52 residents.Ashgreen House is in a quiet residential area of Woolwich. Woolwich Arsenal Station is a 10 minute walk from the home. The home has close links with local schools.The home has 52 beds which are situated on four floors. All rooms are single occupancy and have en-suite facilities. Each floor has its own dedicated lounge and dining space. A spacious activities lounge is situated on the first floor. A full time activities leader. A sweet shop and general store are located on the ground floor. There are two lifts and stairs for residents use.Externally, there are gardenssituated to the front and rear of the building and there is some parking space available for visitors to the home. There is a residents' garden with raised beds situated by the day centre and a gardening club to encourage residents to join in.Staff have access to highly-skilled treatment and procedures in relation to recovery and rehabilitation, achieving effective and long-term results that, where possible, enable users to return to a full and fulfilling lifestyle.Ashgreen's services make excellent contributions to the lives of full-time carers in need of regular assistance, there are weekly residents and relatives' meetings and an elected resident representative, with policies that protect the dignity of the individual and respect the concerns of any family members involved.
