ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ARNCLIFFE COURT NURSING AND RESIDENTIAL HOME
Arncliffe Court is situated in Halewood, a residential area of Liverpool. This modern, purpose-built home is conveniently close to shops and is on a local bus route.
Types of care provided
The home comprises five separate houses, specialising in residential, nursing care, residential dementia and nursing dementia care. Convalescence, palliative care and respite are also provided. Residents from all funding types are welcome including local authority, private or NHS continuing care. Bupa’s highly trained carers provide 24-hour care in a professional, supportive and respectful way.
Food
Our residents can expect to have excellent, home-made and nutritious food, cooked by our chef, who has won Bupa's Chef of the Year award. We provide a wide range to satisfy individual tastes and always ensure that each resident's dietary requirements are met.
As well as full cooked meals, there are always lighter alternatives, finger food and snacks on offer. A Night Bite menu is available for those who need to eat between the hours of 6.30pm and 6.30am.
We aim to fully understand new residents' nutritional needs, tastes, special diets and preferences shortly after their arrival, and we check regularly that such needs are being met.
Activities
Our dedicated activity co-ordinator makes sure there are lots of different and stimulating things to do that can help to bolster residents’ strength and energy levels, appetite and general well-being.As well as lots of individual activities, we run clubs and groups as well as themed events where all the residents and their relatives can join in.
Residents of all abilities will always find something interesting to do – everything from gardening, flower arranging and bingo, to quizzes, games, religious services and karaoke sessions.
Entertainers visit regularly, and trips to local places of interest are often organised. Such outings might include a visit to Walton Hall Park, a garden centre, or a local themed restaurant.
