It is situated in a quiet, residential area of Newbury, with the added convenience of nearby shops and access to public transport. Argyles provides high quality nursing care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. We also offer specialist care for those with Parkinson's disease.We have the latest facilities and employ dedicated, well-trained staff. Our registered nurses and care assistants offer professional, respectful 24-hour care.
Key features of Argyles Nursing Home
Argyles was built in 1991 to create a pleasant, well equipped home for its residents. With spacious social areas and quiet lounges, this nursing home has been thoughtfully designed and has full lift access throughout. Argyles has a lovely, spacious garden with seating areas beneath the trees and on the patio. Residents and their guests delight in sitting out here on sunny days while enjoying afternoon tea. Green fingered residents can help with some light gardening, if they wish.
Bedrooms
Many of the bedrooms are ensuite, with some large enough for two people to share if required. All rooms have attractive décor and a high standard of comfortable furnishings, however we like residents to feel at home so encourage them to bring photos, ornaments and small items of furniture to personalise their rooms if they wish. Safety features are fitted to all rooms as standard, and include smoke alarms and 24-hour call systems.
