ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - APPLETHWAITE GREEN
Applethwaite Green is owned by Cumbria County Council and operated by the in-house provider, Cumbria Care. The home accommodates up to twenty eight older people in three units. One of these provides care for people with dementia.
Accommodation is in single occupancy rooms. There were suitable shared areas with each unit having its own small kitchen, lounge and dining area.
The home is situated in a residential area of Windermere but in walking distance of local amenities.
