ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ANCASTER COURT NURSING HOME
Nestling between the bustling resorts of Eastbourne and Hastings, Ancaster Court is situated in the seaside town of Bexhill. Set in a peaceful residential street, the home was formerly a Victorian private house that has been sympathetically converted.
The care we offer
At Ancaster Court, residents are welcomed for long or short-term stays. We provide high quality nursing care, nursing dementia care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. Our skilled and highly-trained staff are supportive, caring and dedicated to the needs of each of our residents.
Home life
There is a choice of three well-furnished lounges, where residents can meet and chat, entertain visitors, or find a quiet corner in which to read or play cards. There are two large dining rooms, a light and airy conservatory and a furnished patio that are enjoyed by residents and their guests alike. The large, mature gardens are accessible by wheelchair and provide a perfect venue for relaxing on warmer days.
Additional services
As well as the daily nursing and care services included in the fees, there is a range of additional therapies and services that residents may choose to enjoy. These include hairdressing, reminiscence therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. Other appointments – for the optician or dentist, for example – can also be made on our residents' behalf.
