ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - AMBERLEY COURT NURSING HOME
This purpose-built home is centrally located in the Cannon Hill Park area of Birmingham. It is a modern home, specialising in the care of younger residents.
The care we offer Amberley Court is specifically designed to meet the needs of younger people with physical disabilities. Along with adults with acquired brain injuries or progressive diseases. We also offer care for people with Huntington’s disease and for those who require convalescence, palliative care or respite. Our professional staff are well-trained to offer the highest standard of specialised care required by our residents.
Home life Well-furnished social areas comprise four lounges (including a quiet lounge) and two dining rooms. An activity room with a snooker table that is electronically adjustable is an enjoyable past-time for residents. The cyber café has specialised computer keyboards so all can go online and access the internet if they wish. There is wheelchair access to all areas, including the large, landscaped gardens and patio seating area to allow for enjoyment by all.
Other services and amenities We have a dedicated occupational therapist and physiotherapist and we can also arrange residents’ appointments with a specialist neuro-physiotherapist, dentist, optician or chiropodist, as required. Amberley Court is conveniently located on a bus route, while Cannon Hill Park and the local shops are all within walking distance.
