With links to the local Alzheimer’s club and mobile library, Amathea works hard to enable older people, including those with dementia and special nursing needs, to express themselves and enjoy the world around them.
Private single rooms with en suite facilities ensure that all residents have privacy and comfort, while the home’s lounges and landscaped garden offer sociable and safe spaces to enjoy the company of others. Here, too, we are committed to providing alternative therapies such as reflexology and music therapy as ways of enhancing personal well-being, while a wide range of activities, visits and events are always on offer for you to take part in if you wish.
