This beautiful nursing home is situated in the quiet village of Alveston, just outside the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon.
The home offers both residential and nursing care including a range of specialist care services.
The care we offer
Alveston Leys offers residential care, nursing care, respite and convalescence, as well as specialist palliative and Parkinson’s disease care. Residents are welcome for long or short-term stays. The home offers exceptional personal care and we employ dedicated, highly-trained staff to provide 24-hour care in a professional and respectful way
Food
Our experienced chef provides a varied menu of nutritionally balanced meals, prepared daily and using fresh ingredients.
All tastes and dietary requirements are catered for, resulting in happy, sociable mealtimes that are an important part of the day. We aim to fully understand new residents' nutritional needs and taste preferences shortly after their arrival at Alveston Leys. Friends and relatives are most welcome to join residents for mealtimes if they wish. Or they have the option to pop in and enjoy a slice of delicious home-made cake that is served with afternoon tea.
Activities
Residents are encouraged to lead as active a lifestyle as possible. Interesting daily activities take into account individual interests and levels of mobility. Social events and activities, such as crafts, board games, personal hobbies, or watching DVDs take place in the dedicated activity lounge.
As well as special monthly events that are designed for all residents to participate in, Alveston Leys also has strong links with the community. During ‘Communi-tea’ week, local people are invited into the home to meet residents and socialise, and we also invite local entertainers to perform.
