ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - AGINCARE UK EASTBOURNE
The Agincare Eastbourne Branch has been established at Dyke house, South Street since 2008 we are located at the memorial roundabout end to South Street, Eastbourne. The Office is at the top of South Street where there is pay and display parking. The office building has disabled access throughout and toilet facilities.
Hayley Glen is the Registered Manager of the Eastbourne Branch. Hayley started her career path in Health and social Care back in 1989 where she began her career as a care worker; she has completed many training programmes and has been a registered manager since 2006.
The Eastbourne care staff undergo a continuous in house training programme to ensure they are competent and knowledgeable about differing conditions and diseases. A high percentage of the staff in Eastbourne are qualified to an NVQ level. Staff have also undergone specific training qualifications such as NCFE level 2 in Dementia care and Medication, stroke awareness, diabetes, End of life Care, infection control, and many many more. New members of staff complete all relevant mandatory training prior to visiting service users, they also “shadow” an experienced senior member of our staff to ensure they are competent in the expected tasks.
Back in 2010 the Eastbourne branch was awarded 3 contracts with the local authority East Sussex County Council, Agincare Eastbourne assists service users across the Eastbourne area. Agincare Eastbourne Branch prides itself on continuity of care, providing a tailored and excellent service and ensuring service users choice, independence and control are promoted at all times.
