ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ADMIRALS REACH RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME
Admirals Reach is a modern, well-equipped care home situated in a residential area of Chelmsford, Essex. This purpose-built home has exceptional facilities having recently undergone a refurbishment.
The care we offer
At Admirals Reach we welcome long or short-stay residents. Our knowledgeable and dedicated staff are always on hand to provide support and care for people requiring residential, nursing, nursing dementia, convalescence, palliative care and respite. We also offer a range of services for young, physically disabled residents.
Food
Mealtimes are important, enjoyable social occasions at Admirals Reach. We make sure all residents have a wide choice of appetising meals, and that individual preferences are understood and catered for. Made using fresh ingredients, there is always a varied and nutritionally balanced menu on offer that incorporates a choice of hot and cold dishes and light alternatives.
Residents have the choice to eat in the homely dining room or in the privacy of their own room, if they prefer.
Activities
Different activities take place each day, taking into account the residents’ individual interests and levels of mobility. While residents have plenty of time to pursue existing hobbies and interests, there is always the opportunity to discover new ones - perhaps joining one of our popular clubs for gardening, cookery and painting.
As part of Bupa’s Community Connections scheme the home has recently worked with Marie Curie. We also celebrate Bupa’s Communi-tea week, where older people who live on their own in the local community are invited into Admirals Reach to meet the residents and join in the fun.
Rooms with a view
Our bedrooms have ensuite facilities and each room has a view onto the pretty gardens. All rooms are attractively decorated and have comfortable furnishings and safety features as standard such as smoke detectors and 24-hour call systems.
