Addaction - Newcastle provides a community service to people who have drug related problems. The service provides brief intervention sessions, advice and support. It provides a needle exchange scheme and can make referrals to prescribing and rehabilitation services. The service also provides testing for blood borne viruses and vaccinations. We also provide support for concerned others and signpost to appropriate agencies.
