ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ACACIA LODGE RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME
Acacia Lodge is a large, attractive home in Irthlingborough, a small town on the River Nene, just four miles from Wellingborough in Northamptonshire.
The care we offer
Offering specialist nursing, nursing dementia, Huntington’s disease and convalescent care, we welcome residents for long or short-term stays, depending on their individual requirements.
We also provide expert care to younger people with physical disabilities having registered nurses and dedicated care assistants on hand to provide 24-hour assistance and support.
Key features of Acacia Lodge
Originally a large private house, Acacia Lodge has been sympathetically extended to provide a bright, well-equipped home for our residents. It was fully refurbished in 2008, with new décor and comfortable furnishings adding to the happy, homely atmosphere. Our beautiful grounds can be viewed from the conservatory and many of the bedrooms.
Social lounge areas
Residents can choose between four comfortable, well-furnished lounges. This is where residents can relax, catch up with guests or make new friends, watch television or simply enjoy some quiet time.
Attractive gardens and patio
The delightful garden and patio area has tables and chairs where residents can enjoy warmer weather. There is also a sensory garden and crop garden to provide a stimulating environment. This is where we grow the aromatic herbs and produce for use in the kitchen, and where green-fingered residents can get involved in some gentle gardening.
