Situated in the heart of a quiet residential community within the City of Leeds, Aberford Hall is a 42 bedded care home which provides 24 hour Nursing care.
Meet the team
At HC-One our experienced Home Managers and members of staff ensure kindness is at the heart of everything we do.
Our Residents receive professional care delivered with thoughtfulness and respect, in a friendly, homely and supportive environment, where quality of life is paramount.
We understand that meals are a very important part of our Residents’ day, our menus cover a variety of choices for each meal and a choice of snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are also available 24 hours a day.
Family and friends join Residents for meals which are served in both of our dining rooms or, if our Residents wish, they can choose to eat in the privacy of their own rooms.
We also enjoy hosting themed meals and catering for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.
Hobbies and interests
Our Activities Co-ordinator provides a daily activities calendar of popular pastimes which is displayed in the home, this includes:
• Seasonal events
• Gentle exercise
• Seasonal gardening club
• Arts and crafts
• Baking
• Quizzes
• Animal visits
• Musical entertainment such as performers and karaoke
Many of our Residents find spending time with our members of staff particularly enjoyable, relaxing hand massages always prove to be very popular.
Outdoor area
Our attractive patio area, complete with comfortable seating, is a popular place to sit and watch the welcomed birds and wildlife that regularly visit the garden.
