ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ABBEYFIELD HOUSE - NEW MALDEN
Abbeyfield New Malden provides care and support for up to 36 older people who have dementia.
Abbeyfield House is a purpose-built residential care home and was established in 1999. The home comprises of 36 bedrooms with en-suite facilities and each room is fitted with a television, telephone socket and a fitted wardrobe.
The dedicated staff team is trained to provide a high standard of person-centred care for older people living with dementia. As part of supporting the staff’s continuous professional development, the home provides regular training for the staff on topics related to various conditions affecting older people in order to further improve their knowledge.
Our residents are actively supported to make decisions about the seasonal menus and the variety of meals offered so as to accommodate all cultural preferences and requirements.
Our residents are actively supported to remain mentally and physically active through the provision of a variety of meaningful activities.
The entire staff team is dedicated to providing a warm, homely and friendly atmosphere for the residents, their relatives and visitors.
