ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 89 MAWNEY ROAD
At 89 Mawney Road we support six individuals with a learning disability, who may also have challenging needs.
We want everyone at 89 Mawney Road to be able to live as independently as possible, building on the skills they have and developing new ones. We support everyone to attend the activities they enjoy and seek out new opportunities and interests.
Staff have a positive, person centred attitude and make sure each individual’s needs are met. The people we support are always included in meetings about how the service is run and encouraged to make choices.
The service is in Romford with good public transport nearby. We frequently use local amenities and are made welcome by other local people.
The service has a sensory room and front and back gardens. The service is wheelchair accessible.
