ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 60 COBHAM ROAD
At 60 Cobham Road we provide care and support to individuals with a learning disability and autistic spectrum disorders.
Each person is encouraged to lead an active life and make the most of the educational and leisure facilities available locally, using public transport where suitable, to develop independence. We support individuals to participate in a range of activities, according to their interests and wishes.
The service is located in the village of Fetcham, between Cobham and Leatherhead in Surrey, giving convenient access to local shops as well as the larger centres.
We offer a varied programme of activities within the home, including music and art sessions. The large enclosed garden is very popular and good use is made of it in the summer months. People are invited to help maintain the garden as part of daily living skills development.
60 Cobham Road has spacious shared areas, offering the choice of socialising or spending time alone.
60 Cobham Road is a friendly calm place where people live in a very homely environment and simply get on with living their lives the way it suits them. This service has supported people through change and worked with them to develop coping strategies to a stage where behaviours that challenge physically are a thing of the past.
