ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 46 LONDON ROAD
At 46 London Road we provide personalised support and rehabilitation to individuals following an acquired brain injury. We can offer long term or short term placements and have particular experience of supporting people with physical disabilities and memory impairment.
We offer a range of therapies including, psychology, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and physiotherapy and our high staffing levels enable us to work with each individual to create a tailored support package to meet their needs and help them to reach their goals and achieve greater independence over time.
The service has eleven well equipped apartments, each with en-suite facilities and a kitchenette area. The ground floor apartments all have French doors which open onto the large garden. There is also a large activity room. The service is purpose built and both the building and the garden are fully wheelchair accessible. We also have two wheelchair accessible vehicles.
The service is in the centre of Gloucester, enabling easy access to all local amenities, including shops and leisure facilities. The service has been established for over ten years and we have developed strong links with our local Headway group.
