ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 4 HERMITAGE LANE
At 4 Hermitage Lane we support six individuals with a learning disability in a warm welcoming environment. We can provide support for a range of needs, including autism, behaviours that challenge, epilepsy and cerebral palsy.
Our committed, long standing staff team are all familiar with the people living at the service, providing consistent support. All staff are focussed on producing the best outcomes for everyone at the service and are keen to develop themselves through further specialist training and try new methods.
We promote independence and encourage everyone to make decisions for themselves and take part in service meetings. We also work with each individual to promote a healthy lifestyle.
We give everyone the opportunity to try new things. This has previously included visits to the London Eye, Cadburys World, Longleat, castles and the theatre, as well as holidays.
The service is in a suburban location, close to local facilities and good bus services. We make use of local facilities, including pubs and the community hall for special events and karaoke.
The six large bedrooms all have en-suite facilities. There is also a large kitchen, two living areas, a conservatory and a spacious garden.
