ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 39 HAWTHORNE GROVE
At 39 Hawthorne Grove we support three individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.
The service is a three bedroom bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac, a twenty minute walk from Trowbridge town centre, with local shops, a college and bus stops all close by.
We aim to meet each individual’s needs to the highest standard in all aspect of their lives, while also providing a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Staff have good relationships with the people they support and their families and each person is encouraged to develop their social and communication skills by working with the key people in their lives. Everyone is given opportunities to express their wishes and preferences and we hold regular house meetings.
There are opportunities to attend college courses and a day centre.
The service has a lovely garden and a conservatory. One of the bedrooms has en-suite facilities. The service is accessible to wheelchair users and specialist equipment is available if needed.
