ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 3 BARN RISE
At 3 Barn Rise we have a proven track record of supporting gentlemen with profound learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs who may show challenging behaviour.
Our aim is for each person we support to be happy, enjoy their home and have a good quality of life. We support individuals to become as independent as possible.
The high level of staff enables individuals to become actively involved in the daily running of the service and to access activity centres and leisure facilities in the local area. The service has its own vehicle which can also be used for visits to individuals’ family homes.
The service is located in the heart of Wembley, within walking distance of shops and public transport.
Support plans are carefully tailored to allow each person choice and independence while providing robust behavioural guidelines. As well as making the most of local facilities such as shops, restaurants and parks, we offer a choice of activities within the service, such as music and art, dance therapy, aromatherapy and reflexology.
3 Barn Rise has six bedrooms and a number of shared areas, all of which are furnished to a high standard to create a welcoming and warm environment. There is also a fully equipped sensory area for relaxation.
The kitchen has been specially designed to allow everyone to take part in meal preparations, and there is a separate dining room where individuals can share meals together, if they wish. The service has a large landscaped garden and is accessible for wheelchair users.
