ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 126 CASTLE LANE
At 126 Castle Lane we provide support to three women with learning disabilities, Down’s Syndrome and bipolar disorder. The service is in Olton, Solihull close to local facilities and public transport links.
We use a person centred approach to encourage each individual to achieve their maximum potential and live as independently as possible. There is the opportunity to attend college for life skills, one individual does voluntary work at the college she attends. Everyone has access to the local amenities.
We hold weekly meetings where everyone can share ideas, choose activities and contribute to menu planning. We have an open door policy for people who live here and their families to be involved in the day to day running of the home.
