ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 1 UPPINGHAM GARDENS
At 1 Uppingham Gardens we provide support to seven individuals with a mild to moderate learning disability. This includes older people who may have related mental health issues.
The service is in a lovely residential area with good public transport links and local facilities. Each individual has their own bedroom; the current vacancy is a ground floor room. There is also a level access shower room on the same floor. The service has a mature garden with a patio area and barbecue.
The service has a gentle pace of life, with service users enjoying relaxing in their retirement, especially over a cake in the coffee shop! There is a well established, settled staff team who provide support to everyone living at the service.
