"This place is disgusting the staff take ages to answer your call, if you complain they punish you and if you are someone who needs changing as you cannot access the toilet yourself they take hours to do so, of you cant feed yourself again you will have to wait to be fed or get water, resulting in cold food, and dont ask for help to use the toilet again hours wait, this place needs better staff and to actually care about the people they look after, if you want to punish your relative send them here, people in prison get treated better. Shame on you all"

ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - HAWKINGE HOUSE LONG TERM CARE

Hawkinge House provides accommodation in studio suites for residents who are in need of care and support.

The scheme is divided into social groups for physical frailty and various types of dementia. Full 24 hour nursing care is available in-house so that most residents can have a home for life within the scheme. Residents’ spouses can also be accommodated, to allow couples to stay together even when one develops the need for on-going care.
